Vegan Dominos Review
Is it worth your money?
It’s nice to finally have a vegan option in this nationwide chain. Which will definitely appeal to a more people and get people to consider vegan options, even if it’s just a side or two with their regular order.
The main word I would use to describe the vegan dominos pizza options would be ‘average’. Nothing offensive about the pizza but I’m not in a hurry to order again soon.
The taste wasn’t anything spectacular and it’s overpriced for a pizza that tastes no better than a frozen oven pizza. Plus, it went cold very quickly after it arrived. Which isn’t ideal if you are a chatterbox, like me, haha!
The cheese is great but I can’t understand how it took them so long to get a vegan cheese option. It melts well and you also have the option to double the cheese as an added topping choice.
The pineapple topped margarita was my personal favourite, but I LOVE pineapple on pizza. I know not everyone agrees but if I could I’d have it as a topping every time! I found the vegi supreme a little boring without the herbs that come as standard on the margarita. But I ain’t about to pay £1.50 just for a sprinkling of herbs!
The potato wedges were a solid 9/10. Lovely ‘n’ crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and great flavour!
Review of The Chick-Ain’t:
”maybe we are just spoilt with incredible vegan options these days but this is essentially their vegan vegi supreme with less veg and a few vegan chicken pieces that really didn’t taste of much.”
Review from Georgia @veganpixie_
Review from a non-vegan:
”Compared to normal domino’s, it didn’t have that well known ‘domino’s’ taste and the vegan cheese tastes like most other pizza chains vegan cheese option”
review From non-vegan
Author’s review:
”Average. Great to have a vegan cheese option in a chain but it is overpriced (we got them with the 2 for Tuesday’s deal and it was still about £20 total). I think they could have done better considering they have taken SO long to bring out the vegan options too.”
